2. Hosting and server log files
The website runs at Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in an EU data centre. We have a data processing agreement with the provider under Art. 28 GDPR.

- Purpose: secure and stable operation, defence against attacks, error analysis.

3. Cookies and local storage
We use only technically necessary storage (for example language or security). It exists solely to deliver the website you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). No cookie banner is therefore required. - Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering requests effectively).
- Retention: until your request is fully handled. After that we review at least every 12 months whether we still need the data and delete it if not. Legal retention duties (for example for business correspondence) remain unaffected. At your request we delete your data at any time, unless a duty to retain it applies.

The required fields are necessary so we can reply. Without them we cannot handle your request.
5. Recipients of your data
We share your data only where needed for the purposes above: with our hosting provider and email provider (both processors), and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
6. Transfers to third countries
Our website is hosted in the EU. Where emails are processed by Google, a transfer to the USA may take place. It is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) and, in addition, by standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20);
